Format of the course
The online IMCAP-ND Course is in a hybrid format consisting of both asynchronous and synchronous learning experiences. Part 1 is asynchronous and consists of video lectures, book chapters and articles. This portion of the course will provide participants with the foundation and theory behind the IMCAP-ND model while providing a comprehensive overview of the assessment model. Parts 2, 3 & 4 consist of three synchronous (in-person) meetings. To learn more about this course please review this brief video below.
PART 1: Asynchronous Platform: Readings and Video Lecture
Following registration, you will receive the following materials prior to first online synchronous meeting.
This section of the course will provide participants with the foundational and theoretical components of IMCAP-ND such as Music-Centered theory (abridged version) and philosophical underpinnings of IMCAP-ND. In addition, this segment will provide an overview of each of the 3 rating scales (Musical Emotional Assessment Rating Scale, Musical Perception Scale and Musical Responsiveness Scale) and scoring system. Although this information will be reviewed during the online meetings, it is required that all participants complete this segment before attending our first online meeting.
(Parts 2, 3 and 4 consist synchronous meetings (in-person) and include 3 meeting days and times)

PART 4: Day 3 Meeting

Refund:
50% refund for cancellation before January 1th, 2025. No refunds will be awarded for cancellations after January 1, 2024.
Recording the Course:
Each of our online meetings will be video recorded and made available to all the registered participants.
