Welcome to the Developmental Relationship-based Music Therapy (DRMT) Training Program! DMH services offers several developmental relationship-based music therapy courses. For music therapists seeking to advance their clinical practice of developmental relationship based work, we offer a Certificate Training Program in Developmental Relationship-based Music Therapy. The certificate program consists of 3 courses:

  1. DIR-MT 101: An introduction to DIRFloortime for Music Therapists
  2. DIR-MT 200: Promoting Foundational Musical-Emotional Developmental Capacities 1-3
  3. DIR-MT 300: Fostering Advanced Levels of Music-Emotional/Developmental Capacities 3-5

In addition to the certificate program, we offer several courses outside of the certificate training program that include:

  1. IMCAP-ND Assessment Level I and Level II
  2. Clinical Musicianship
  3. Crafting Music-Centered Clinical Goals (Coming soon!)
  4. Supervision/Coaching
