Clinical Supervision

Supervision is aimed at assisting the clinician address the complexities of their clinical work. This process generally involves the examination of the therapist’s clinical process (both musical and interpersonal) as a means to expanding their internal and external lens both musically and interpersonally.

For over 20 years I’ve supervised music therapy professionals and interns working within various approaches and with a of range of client groups across the life span. The context of the supervision is individualized based on the therapist’s interests and thus can take on music-centered and or relationship-based framework.

Supervision may include video review of  sessions and/or discussing various clinical cases. Sessions are affordable (special rates apply to student therapists and new professionals) and can be conducted remotely or in-person.
